Terms of Service

Last updated 20 Sep, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ahodwo Farms Ltd website, client portal and mobile application (together, the "Platform"), and your purchase of our products and services. By browsing the site, creating an account, placing an order, entering a hire-purchase agreement, investing, or joining the out-grower scheme, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our services. We may revise these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do, and continued use after changes are published constitutes acceptance.

2. Who We Are

Ahodwo Farms Ltd is a cassava cultivation and agro-processing company registered in the Republic of Ghana, operating from Juapong in the Volta Region. We produce and sell Ahodwo Premium Gari in 1.5kg packs, 25kg sacks and 50kg sacks; we operate the "Cassava for Cash Guarantee" out-grower scheme; and we offer investment plans that fund the expansion of our farming and processing operations. You can reach us at info@ahodwofarms.com or through the contact details published on this website.

3. Accounts and Registration

Individuals, companies and NGOs may register as clients. You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials confidential — you are responsible for all activity under your account. Client registrations are subject to approval by our team, and some features (ordering, investing) unlock only after approval. You must be at least 18 years old, or a duly registered organisation acting through an authorised representative. We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information, default persistently on obligations, or misuse the Platform.

4. Orders, Prices and Payment

All prices are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and may change without notice; the price shown at checkout applies to your order. Payment may be made via Paystack (cards and mobile money), MTN Mobile Money, GT-Bank Ghana transfer, cash or cheque, as available. Bank-transfer orders are confirmed once our accounts team verifies the payment — normally within 24 hours of you submitting the transfer reference or proof of payment. An order is accepted when we confirm it, and a receipt is issued for every confirmed payment. We may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, payment fails verification, or an obvious pricing error occurred — any amount already paid for a cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Delivery and Risk

Delivery timelines and fees depend on your delivery zone and are shown before you confirm an order. Someone must be available to receive the goods at the delivery address you provide. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery (or on collection at the farm gate). Please inspect goods on receipt and report shortages or damage within 48 hours with photographs; verified issues will be replaced or refunded. Bulk and wholesale orders may be scheduled for phased delivery by agreement.

6. Hire Purchase

Selected products may be bought on hire purchase. A hire-purchase order requires a minimum deposit (shown per product) and is subject to approval and an agreement covering the deposit, monthly instalments, interest and duration. Ownership of the goods passes to you only when all instalments have been paid in full; until then the goods remain the property of Ahodwo Farms Ltd and may not be sold, pledged or disposed of. Instalments are due on the dates in your schedule; we send reminders by SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram or email before and after due dates. Persistent default may lead to termination of the agreement, repossession of the goods where lawful, and recovery of outstanding amounts, as detailed in your agreement. Early settlement is welcome and attracts no penalty.

7. Investments and Risk Disclosure

Our investment plans state their minimum amount, duration, payout frequency and projected return. Projected returns are based on our current operations and market demand; they are projections, not guarantees, and are not insured by any government deposit-protection scheme. Agriculture carries inherent risks — weather, pests, price movements and operational events can affect outcomes. Invest only amounts you can commit for the full duration, and only after reading the plan terms. An investment becomes active when your payment is confirmed and our team approves it; maturity and payout dates are tracked in your portal. Early withdrawal before maturity may not be possible, or may attract charges, as stated in the plan terms. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial advice; seek independent advice where needed.

8. The Cassava for Cash Guarantee Scheme

Out-grower participation is governed by a separate scheme agreement covering cash advances, ploughing support, pre-agreed prices and harvest settlement. Advances are applied against the value of your harvest at the pre-agreed price; the scheme agreement prevails over these Terms for scheme matters. Joining the scheme is subject to farm verification and our absorption capacity.

9. Communications Consent

By registering, you consent to receive service communications from us — order and payment confirmations, invoices and receipts, instalment reminders, investment updates, request responses, and account notices — by SMS, email, WhatsApp or Telegram, using the contact details on your profile. We may also send occasional goodwill messages (such as birthday or holiday greetings) and, where you opt in, marketing about our products and schemes. You can update your contact channels in your portal profile or ask us to limit non-essential messages at any time; service communications essential to a live order, agreement or investment cannot be opted out of while it remains active.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Platform: no unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity; no attempts to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data or systems; no scraping, reverse engineering or interference with the Platform's operation; and no posting or transmitting of unlawful or infringing content. We may suspend access, remove content and involve law enforcement where misuse is detected.

11. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including the Ahodwo Farms name and logo, product descriptions, photographs, articles and page designs — belongs to Ahodwo Farms Ltd or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not reproduce, distribute or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. You may share links to our public pages and quote short excerpts with clear attribution.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. Payment card processing is handled by our payment providers (such as Paystack); we do not store full card details. Please read our Privacy Policy — it forms part of these Terms.

13. Liability

We provide the website and portal "as is" and, while we strive for accuracy and availability, we do not warrant that they will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ahodwo Farms Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform, and our total liability in connection with any order, agreement or investment shall not exceed the amounts you paid under it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law, including liability for fraud.

14. Termination, Governing Law and Contact

You may close your account at any time once your active orders, hire-purchase agreements and investments are settled. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, with obligations that accrued before termination surviving it. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana; disputes will first be pursued in good-faith negotiation, failing which they are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. Questions about these Terms may be sent to info@ahodwofarms.com or delivered to our office at Juapong, Volta Region, Ghana.
